Afterschool Enrichment

​

Valley View's After School Nature Clubs offer children what they really need; time spent outside, actively learning and exploring in the natural world. Sessions engage students in active, hands-on experiences throughout the changing seasons. Each group meets weekly, and sessions include hiking, exploring, playing nature games, learning new skills and engaging in a variety of projects in the wild. Our enrichment clubs allow students to engage with nature & connect with others in a meaningful way.

 

Valley View Nature Explorers

Grades 1-3

Nature explorers will enjoy hiking and exploring Valley View woods, prairie, wetlands & 
riverbank. Our experienced Naturalist will lead explorers in active group nature games, natural
art projects, gardening and the leave no trace code of ethics. Students will learn, make new
friends & build their confidence in our natural world. ​

NATURE EXPLORERS - SPRING SESSION
TUESDAYS, APRIL 9th - MAY 14th

• Cost per individual session is $120 

• All clubs will meet from 3:15PM to 5:15PM

• Parent Pickup will be located in the rear parking lot of Pattison

• Clubs will not meet the week of spring break

• Due to the program curriculum, we are unable to make grade level exceptions

• If severe weather occurs, clubs will meet indoors at Pattison Elementary

• Clubs will be filled with a maximum of 14 participants on a first come, first serve basis.
