Valley View was preserved for the benefit of everyone in our area.  It is free of charge to visit the property.  Nevertheless, supporting Valley View members and generous donations are the reason we have been able to accomplish all that we have to date and are crucial to our ability to maintain the property, equipment and continue to create great outdoor experiences for all ages. Is Valley View handicap accessible?

Unfortunately, not at this time. While many of our trails are flat, they are simply mowed grass. We are working toward funding a capital project that will improve access and make this a more inclusive site. Accessibility for all is especially important to us as we have a large retirement community and elementary school bordering our property.

Amenities
What are the available amenities?

Valley View is primitive. We do our best to minimize our impact and keep it as natural an unaltered as possible. You can explore more than 5 miles of mowed trails open for walking (dogs and people), running, non-motorized bicycling and horseback riding.   New trail markers will be installed in the spring of 2017 for those who would like to follow designated pathways through wooded areas, open prairie or along the river.  Fishing is permitted along our stretch of the East Fork River and camping is allowed with permission and a completed permit. We do suggest you plan ahead for your visit, we do not have restrooms on site.

Safety concerns?

We do not have rangers or representatives on site, however the City of Milford's emergency services are nearby and generally familiar with the Valley View property. Milford police do patrol the property and are familiar with the access points.  Please call 911 in the case of emergency or call the non-emergency number (513)-248-5084 if you need assistance.
