Hikes and Walks
Valley View has about five miles of trails that are perfect for hikes and walks in all seasons. Most of the trails are mowed grass through the open fields. We also have trails through the wooded areas of our site including some low impact trails in the wetlands and woodlands near the East Fork River. Valley View is also part of the City of Milford's Urban Trail system. Valley is also just a couple of miles from the Little Miami Scenic Bike Trail that runs from Milford to Springfield, Ohio.
In 2010, Valley View hosted the Milford Invitational Cross Country meet, a regional meet that drew hundreds of runners from schools throughout eastern Greater Cincinnati to the Valley View property.

Events
At various times during the year Valley View hosts events and groups who are looking for tours of our property. The best way to keep informed about upcoming events is to join our e-newsletter mailing list or check back to our home page. Typically events take place in the spring, summer and fall. Our events provide great opportunities for the community to come out and enjoy the Valley View property with family and friends. We have held a Fall Festival every year since we were founded in 2002. In 2008 we held our first Spooky Bottoms Halloween event and the event has grown every year since. We are planning a balloon light and launch event for late spring and more events will be added in the future. If you have an event idea or would like to lead or volunteer for such an event, contact us.
Private Tours & Parties
Our mission is to share the land we own - its natural beauty and historical features - with the Greater Cincinnati community. In order to do so, we welcome the opportunity to give guided tours and host family oriented parties on our property. Small group guided walking tours, bird hikes and hay rides are available upon request. We can accommodate 20 to 30 people on our hay wagon and give tours that last about 60 minutes. We routinely host birthday parties and scout troop outings. We request a $150 donation to Valley View for hayrides given the time, equipment and fuel required to give hayrides. We suggest a donation be made for other tours and parties, but a donation is not required. We also welcome teachers who wish to bring their classes to Valley View for field trips.
